I do the same with the mortgage spreadsheet. "If I pay £50 here, it knocks a whole 47 hours off my mortgage!"

NNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! PLEASE NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mortgage spreadsheet is big enough, it will explode if I put hours in as well!!!!!! And I get little enough sleep as it is!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I'm just as bad. I toddled down to the council offices with a single £2 coin to pay off my £3k debt. Got some very funny looks, especially I then spent a few minutes adjusting all the little debt lists I have in my organiser.
But I'll have the last laugh, you horrible old council payments hags!!! Hahahahahahahahahaa
hahaha
aha
hha.
I think I forgot my brain medicine today. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Ah well, I've got an offset, so it calculates the money in the offset up to the value of the mortgage, then when it equals the mortgage, it takes the excess out and puts it into a savings account (with a different rate of interest and taxable).
I was thinking of combining it with having an ISA (different rate of interest again, and max contribution in 1 year so the excess has to go into a "real" savings account  ) but even absurd complexity has its limits.
Of course it's all probably moot as the BS will probably round all the figures like little demons, but only in their favor."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Oooh, get miss fancypants
I've got a notebook which I used for about a weekI will start again though. Oh yes. Spreadsheets on the other hand
Stabbed myself in the hand today, that was bright
Also convinced boss to give one of the guys who works 'for' me (very loosely) a bonus cos he's been great lately. Subliminally projecting 'so have I, give me one' all day too...
Bit of a spendy day today... pre-ordered Razorlight's album (tho it was through pigsback so I'll get some points) and also agreed to go for a drink and to the cinema with a guy from work this weekend. So that's gonna cost me. But it's ok, it won't blow my budget. All I've spent from the last two weeks' £40 is 2x £8.50 bus fare and 1x £3 cab fare. So that's £20. £11 for Razorlight (fancy version) makes £31. So I've got £9 for t'cinema and drinky. Although... by the time I go to the cinema it'll be next weeks budget meaning I can spend LOADS but I won't
