Goddamn ... does the beast never rest?!
Some say he is......Some say, he's a matched betting cyborg with built in wi-fi for posting to the forum while sleeping, ...weegie.geek wrote: »...the collective noun for a group of matched bettors ..., who pose as one person.0 -
Why add a duplicating button then instead of modifying the existing one?tartantipster wrote: »You said it. I'm thinking more along the lines of an internal messaging system/alert - to avoid sending the email. Like the 'THANKS' & 'LIKE IT' buttons. Spam is not quite 'abuse', whereas "illegal, offensive, racist, libellous posts or PM's", are.:)0 -
It was not me who added it to the list. I just quoted what we see on the top of the page.
When I said 'modifying' I meant just the way the existing button worked.
That's cool, I never said you added or subtracted anything. I got your point too; those were my sentiments anyway, to an extent. Hopefully jobbingmusician will put something forward.:)0 -

Thanks all for your suggestions. I am still learning correct use of superpowers, so will discuss this with other BGs and let you know what I learn. In the mean time, I suspect grumbler is right - don't be afraid to use the abuse button for spam.
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

I hope you'll be able to consider this idea, it would be a real time saver, and encourage MSE to report more 'Spam' & 'Abuse' as a result, cheers JM.:)0
