Problems with Orange
Comments
-
Had the following response back from Orange yesterday:-Dear RichA
Thank you for your mail.
I am sorry that you are unhappy with the changes made to the service plans available at Orange.
I regret however, that this is a business decision by Orange and can not be varied on an individual basis.
I would however, like to thank you for taking the time to write to us with your views on the service we provide. It is through feedback such as yours that we are able to assess the effectiveness of our service.
Kind regards
Vicki
Orange Customer Services
Disappointing, to say the least. To this day, Orange have made absolutely no attempt to try and keep me as a customer. They've not agreed to 'right their wrongs', and haven't even tried to smooth things over by giving me a billion minutes per month for 50p.
Had a phone call from a lovely young lady in the executives office
. She sounded really nice and came across as really keen to understand just what has gone wrong between Orange and I.
Oh well. The £35 FlexT tariff[/quote] over at T-Mob looks quite tempting - I could get 1000 peak minutes for £35. Or I could just use my head - I make a couple of hundred minutes of calls per month generally, and much of that is because I'll always call people back off-peak. Maybe I should just go over to PAYG - 10p per minute over at Tesco, which would give me 250 anytime minutes per month for the same as my monthly line rental to Orange.
Cheers for the comments you've made folks - especially for pointing me in the direciton of the executives office. Hopefully they'll take note of my comments and become a wonderful company, with flowers blooming from their armpits and rainbows streaming everywhere. Bouquets of flowers shall rain from the sky - along with champagne and strawberries.
