We gave em our money
For them to keep safe
The bankers they lost it
A bonus to make.
They gambled unwisely
On certified debt
Triple As, that were Junk bonds
But looked a good bet.....
As the banks came a tumbling
Kind Gordon stepped in
Said the people would save them
Even though there’d be pain
He gave them our money
To keep them all safe.
But the bankers just stashed it
Their bonus to pay
(shouldn't drink at lunch time..)
