Sky: how do they track new customers?

I have normal sky and am moving house. i want to upgrade to sky+ and will try to get a free upgrade by threatening to cancel.
If they do not offer me this, could i cancel and then sign up as a new customer on their website as i will have a new and unsused address?

They can match bank accounts so if you have another bank account use that for the DD. Or does your wife have a separate bank account?
