Hi Keza,
Don't lose focus! You're nearly there, it's always the last bit which is the hardest to pay back. Sorry to hear about the PTSD,hope you'll feel better soon. With all the money worry it doesn't do any good to you.
I'm worried about my debt as well, I was so sure I would be able to pay it back this month without touching my savings but logged into my internet banking and realized that last month I put £840 on CC which is £200 more than it supposed to be (we put all the bills etc on CC than pay it back at the end of the month, just to collect airmiles)-need to ask OH on what we spent the money. So the goal is for this month is to make the extra £200 somehow and than I'll be debt free by beginning of March.
Good luck with bonus, when will you know how much you get?0 -
Having a positive day again today. Cor these ups and downs certainly put ur mind to the test! Today is a good day! I can do this, I will do this! Its just going to take a bit of thought and juggling! Not sure when I will know about my bonus – hopefully soon!
Necks come up again which is a bummer.Just when u think its getting better it all tightens up again! Thank god it hasn’t locked up yet (touch wood) but it felt like it was going to go this morning! pah! Just be positive and get on with it! Get some painkillers down my neck and try and think of good things! Like my crochet blanket which I have done 38 out of 100 squares now! I love it! Cant wait till its finished!

Hi Keza,
Sorry, I haven't been around much lately. Good news, I'm debt free! Decided to pay back my loan using up my savings, it's a good feeling but now I feel I must make up the savings. Vicious circle, you treat saving now as you treat debt:).
good news about child endowment, well done!
For Valentines I'm baking a cake for OH, not even a heart shape one, but will dust it with icing sugar with little heart shapes sticking out:). I'm not keen on Valnetines, and OH is the same so we will just take it easy.0 -
OH, yeah, I modified the signiture, no need to include different saving accounts and loan as I don't have them anymore

Lots of thinking about payday next week and how it cant come round quickly enuf!!! Debt will be lowest its ever been! £4,300! I'm so proud of myself!
Weekend was good, DF took me for a curry, got me the flowers we are having at our wedding and a crochet book I wanted which I didn’t even realise he knew about! So was very pleased! Our laptop has broken thou so now need to buy a charger for mine, hope and pray we can recover our files from DF’s laptop and then use mine for essentials till we are married and can afford a new one!
Also got weighed and measured at the gym on Friday! Have toned up 8.5 inches in a month! I'm shocked! Just shows what u can achieve when u put ur mind to it! (I hope to be saying that in april too when my debt is cleared!)

Hi Keza,
Sorry for laptop, ours is dying as well, it's 6.5 years old, and a bit too slow:). But I love it as I got it from my first salary:). I have a mini netbook at work but never take it back home as I cycle and afraid that I fall and break it:rotfl:.And knowing how clumsy I am it is a possibility:D.
We're going househunting this week:T. Now that i don't have debt and we have enough savings for deposit, it is a possibility though we still haven't decided where to buy, abroad or London. Also I want at least 2 bedroom, OH suggests 1 so it's going to be a battle. Decisions, decisions...
Well done on the inches as well, I need to get myself motivated too, ohh, so many things to do;).0 -
WOW KEZA - I have been reading through some of your thread - you are so motivated and determined - quite an inspiration in fact!!!!
How do you do it? I'm struggling to know where to start with my debts and just when you think you have a very few pounds extra put aside which can go towards a debt something else happens and you have to use that money elsewhere. Its so hard (but admitedly of our own doing).
Any tips on how to stay as positive as you and how you have done so well?0
