Need help - O2 Vodafone advice

HI

I have a step daughter who has an O2 PAYG phone, she has O2 because boyfriend also has O2 and they can talk and text happily to eachother for hours for free.

We are all on Vodafone family. Most of the calls we make are within the family.

SD wants a new phone for Christmas. We want her to get a vodafone so that we can put her on F&F and so we know that what ever situation she is stuck in without credit she can always call us. She wants o2 so that her and BF can continue free texts/talk.

I don't want to go into a contract or top up situation for her because she can burn £15 worth of credit in minutes.

So, what can I do????? Help??

    Good Morning Sandiep,

Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting back to you, did your Daughter like her Christmas present?

I just wanted to provide some more information as I understand your daughter is happy with 02 however, you wish for her to be on Vodafone.

Why not get a free Vodafone SIM here which your daughter can carry with her and use in an emergency? As long as a chargeable call is made every 90 days the SIM will stay active and she will be able to contact you free of charge at any time (within your Family group). This way she can also keep her 02 SIM to contact her boyfriend.

If there is anything else I can help with, don't hesitate to ask.

    All the best,
