BT Vision - What channels do you ACTUALLY get?!

Options
Hi

BT have phoned me up and offered me BT Vision for £6.50/month and the box for a one off fee of £15. Am currnetly with Sky and the best theyve offered me is £18. I dont use much of the features apart from the recording but do want to keep the food chanels if i move

But - here is the million dollar question I cant seem to answer - what channels do you get?! I cant seem to find a list of all channels that BT Vision gives you. In particular im looking to see if you get UK TV Food or the Food Network

Anyone got a channel list - or can send me a link to one as ive been trawling the BT site and cant seem to find one!

Thanks - any help appreciated

Welshie

    BT Vision's extra content...
So, if the live channels are all on Freeview... what's special about BT Vision? That's easy - the extra content.
The BT Vision V+ box is connected to the Internet, and a huge library of TV shows, movies, sporting content, kids TV shows, documentaries and music videos, all available on-demand.
    • Catch-up TV: Missed a show in the last 7 days? BT Vision has content from BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five
    • TV Shows: A large back-catalogue of shows to keep serious telly addicts hooked - Content from the BBC, ITV, 4 on Demand, Demand Five, Living TV, E!, HBO, National Geographic, The History Channel, Warner TV, MTV, Comedy Central, Discovery and Adult Swim.
    • Movies: Hundreds of on-demand films, from £1.94 - Action, comedy, drama, family, horror, musicals, sci-fi, thriller, war and world cinema.
    • espnlogo.jpgSports: As well as live sporting action from ESPN (including Premier League football action), there's an archive of classic sporting moments and documentaries
    • Kids: Hundreds of kids shows from the BBC and Five, including Bob the Builder, Power Rangers, Noddy, Thomas, Rupert, Spongebob and a bucketload more.
    • Music: Videos, concerts and documentaries on demand
    • Adult: Pin-protected adult movies are also available on BT Vision
    Oh what's the bloody point...?

How do they deliver the above channels?

  • The Vision box provides the On-Demand content.

The TV channels are just the normal Freeview channels provided by your aerial. The aerial feed connects into the Vision box, which then connects to your TV.

    Many thanks for the above.

I knew there was a reason BT Vision was no use for me.
