Misrepresented Caravan

Personally I would ask for a refund (obviously the caravan would need to be returned upon receipt of the money) and if he says no then start a charge back as goods not as described. Through paypal then you should stand a reasonable chance of getting your money back I would have hoped

I would try to mail him one last time before doing this though - you never know

interestingly, a google for the type of caravan I believe it to be brings up a lot of ebay auctions for 4/5 berth, and one or two websites for 4 berth!
does the toilet count as a horisontal berth ;-)money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Personally I would just stop talking about the subject. Until the newbie comes back and explains the full story then we are all just wasting time speculating.Be nice0

Are you sure there isnt a concealed bed somewhere? Sometimes the dining table converts into a bed or the sofa's at the front? I know that sounds silly but I used to have a caravan which I let out for holidays and nearly all the occupants didnt realise that the dining table converted into a bed. Just a thought.
If it were me I would do a chargeback on paypal for the item not being as described and/or not fit for the purpose. Hopefully you stand a good change of getting your money back. If not I would sell it back on ebay and you would stand a good chance of making your money back.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
