    Orange Yogurt Mask
    Ingredients Needed:
    * 1 tsp plain yogurt (I chose Balkan Style)
    * the juice of 1/4 of an orange
Stir to mix and then dip fingers into mixture and smooth onto face. The sensation is both cool and relaxing. Leave on for a five minutes and then rinse. If you are feeling sluggish, this is the perfect mask for you.
    * Yogurt will cleanse and nourish your skin
    * The orange is full of Vitamin C and AHA's
  • I use those funny scrub gloves, they cost about £2.00 a pair and soap on my body, pumice stone for my feet and an old fashioned flannel (clean one every time) on my face. Baby oil on damp skin is possibly the nicest/easiest way to get soft skin. I also put loads of handcream on before I put the rubber gloves on when I wash up.

thanks for the briliant tips, but what is juice of bottle gourd?
  • This just requires good planning...

If you want your hair to grow quicker and stronger have your hair cut in the first quarter phase of the moon.

If you want your hair not to grow too fast ( and so save money on visits to hairdressers), then have it cut on the last quarter phase of the moon.

Check the current moonphase here - http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/phase/phase2001gmt.html

Women are always changing their mood, but it is so much easier to know when an argument will occur if you observe the moon phase and your man's behaviour. My ex would turn sour on EVERY full moon. Yet my new man turns into love machine during the same phase! Without Duracells!!! He doesn't know I've observed it, but it is kind of handy to know this if you want to plan things ahead...just like gals do with regards to their period, we can take the necessary precautions before hand :)

When my eldest sister was pregnant with her first child (some 30 odd years ago) she massaged coconut oil in to her belly every day to prevent stretch marks :)

    Did it work?

A friend of a friend of mine drunk dilluted jelly (any flavour!) in water during all of her pregnancy. She is stretch mark free! :p Couldn't believe it.

  • Ive two tips which both sound gross but do work. The first came from an 80 yr old man who has been a clown for 30 years. He had such smooth skin that I asked what his secret was. He said it was the LARD he used to get his make-up off with! You boil lard in a pan of water then leave to cool. Gather together the soften lard from the water and mix with an essential oil if you wish (I dont bother nowadays). Put into an airtight pot. This even gets waterproof mascara off easily. I usually rinse with warm water and use a toner.

Secondly an american friend told me about using bicarb powder as a deodorant! Simply use under the arms as you would talc. Be careful if you have just shaved though! Ouch!
