  • There is a gift wrap option at the checkout stage.
99% of customers don't need additional packing that will simply be binned or recycled :)

I had this happen with one of my kids presents when I posted about it:

I was told to be grateful that I could buy presents for my kids!

I know the feeling Nikki, this place is supposed to be somewhere we can vent and share what we want, instead 90% of posts are criticism and bashing the original posters and down right ignorant. We pay good money for our gifts and it'd be nice not to have the boxes arrive in terrible state for wrapping and giving to someone else and for presents to remain surprises. I recently had a board game arrive from Play and the box was battered to bits and being black, a lot of it had turned white due to being thrown and battered in transit, however I didn't complain as I was just happy it was covered in a plastic bag to hide the surprise!

Anyhow, it'll probably be one of the ignorant ones it happens to next :)
  • I can see why you are annoyed.

I think my husband is a bit miffed as most of my presents I have chosen myself as they are things I needed. So he wanted to get me a surprise too.

I have just had to sign for a parcel and seeing as it says SCHUH all over the packaging, I have got a good idea what he has bought me... lol
