Just had Virgin installed, and have been given our PIN number for parental control. There are no children in the house, and I have tried to turn the PIN off, but can't find how to do it.
Can anyone tell me how to do this please ? Thanks

Thanks for that, but it only allows you to change your pin, not cancel it.
Have spoken to someone at Virgin, and apparently you can't cancel your PIN. The lowest setting is cert 12 (before 8pm), cert 15 (before 9pm) abnd cert 18 before 10pm. This is going to drive us nuts, never had this problem with SkyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Sky boxes require a pin with Sky movies as well so you should have had this problem if you subscribed to them0 -
Its not something you can cancel. Its always on for catch up on demand etc for if you want to watch something that was intended for adults when it was first broadcast. After 9pm though you dont need to punch in a code. Not sure about movies thoughComping again0

Your original post stated " and I have tried to turn the PIN off, but can't find how to do it." not cancel it & in the instructions it tells you how to change the security level.0 -

So its asking for you to type in your pin for every single channel you want to watch? If it is, then there is a problem.
It should only ask you when watching movies and for the on demand services.Comping again0 -
You cant turn the pin feature off as this allows over 12 rating programs to be watched at anytime, its a way of getting round the 9pm watershed rules.0
