Vodafone Xmas gift - free internet
Vodafone site says it's free to use internet on phone from Xmas day to New Years day.
I was going to pay £5 per month extra for DD to have internet access on her phone as part of her Xmas present. Assume I can now wait till January? Do I need to do anything to take up this offer. Will it mean she can have free access to Facebook/MSN over Xmas on her phone - current contract is 300 mins/unlimited texts only. Thanks.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Vodafone Free VMI Promotion (Promotion) is available to all customers who have a pay as you go or a pay monthly contract with Vodafone Limited in the UK only (Customers). The Promotion will run from 0.00 on 25.12.09 until 23.59 on the 01.01.10 (Promotional Period).
2. The Promotion is only available for browsing WAP sites on your mobile
(Eligible Data). Eligible Data usage during the Promotional Period will not count towards your normal daily or monthly usage allowances.
3. Data accessed through Mobile Broadband, Mobile Broadband Via your Phone and / or BlackBerry email and internet is not eligible for the Promotion and will be charged at your standard rate during the Promotional Period.
4. Customers shall always be bound by the Prepay Browsing Terms and Conditions and the Postpay Browsing Terms and Conditions.
5. All data usage is subject to fair use limit of 25MB a day. If Vodafone believe your use is excessive, we may ask you to moderate your usage. If you then fail to do so, we reserve the right to charge you for the excessive element of your usage at your price plan's standard rate and/or remove you from the Promotion.
6. The Promotion is for private non commercial use only and is not available to Vodafone business customers. There is no cash alternative and the Promoter’s decision is final.

I posted about this the other day, seems I was right.
They did it on 29 November for one day and you simply access internet via your phone and no charge is made.0 -
