What do you upgrade to when ur contract expires? Another iPhone or another phone? or do they only allow you to renew the contract rather than giving you another iPhone or phone of your choice?
I know it sounds like a stupid question but just wanted to know if I should expect a new iPhone at the end of my contract or not

I just rang O2 retentions myself and changed to a cheaper tariff (Simplicity 20 for iPhone). Never discussed new phones but I know the option was there - you can check the deals via their website.

I really like my iPhone but I definitely won't be getting a 3GS. If anything I'll wait to June and hopefully get the new one. Also thinking of the just announced Google "Nexus One" if it makes it to the UK.0

My contract runs out in January, and 'm currently paying £37.50 a month for their iphone 30 tariff with the unlimited text bolt on.
I want to save money, and the simplicity 20 looks good as it includes a lot more mins, plus unlimited texts and o2 to o2 calls.
But there's no mention of data charges.
Has anyone who has switched to a simplicity tariff with their iphone shed any light on what you do with regards to data charges as I currently get email pushed to me which I imagine would incur extra costs0 -
You get unlimited web and wifi with the simplicity for iPhone tariff.0

I have just moved on to Orange Racoon (200 mins to mobiles, 100 mins to landlines and 100 texts) with a £7.50 data bolt on. Total cost £22.50 per month on a rolling 1 month contract. I did consider the O2 simplicity tariff but wanted to try the Orange 3G network to see if it was any better in my area before I buy the new 4G when it is released.0
