Don't worry yourself. The golden rule to remember is that all charges from private parking companies are unenforceable. This applies equally to car-parks in such places as supermarkets, motorway service areas and (in your case) parking bays in blocks of flats.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Bethanalayne, your case is the same as all these people who have also been told to ignore their tickets and threatening letters (those where it's a private parking ticket):

Read about those other cases, you are not alone and are not taking a risk by ignoring this scam fine. The cases in the above link are the same as yours (except those which refer to a proper Council or Police issued ticket); never mind the visitor permit thing, such 'fines' are NOT fines. This company has as much right to fine you as I do!
Ignore them and their threats of intended Court (won't happen).
