  • Sorry. I didn't mean to annoy. I did look for other examples of visitor bays in previous threads but couldn't find any. Thanks again.

Don't worry yourself. The golden rule to remember is that all charges from private parking companies are unenforceable. This applies equally to car-parks in such places as supermarkets, motorway service areas and (in your case) parking bays in blocks of flats.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Bethanalayne, your case is the same as all these people who have also been told to ignore their tickets and threatening letters (those where it's a private parking ticket):

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=163

Read about those other cases, you are not alone and are not taking a risk by ignoring this scam fine. The cases in the above link are the same as yours (except those which refer to a proper Council or Police issued ticket); never mind the visitor permit thing, such 'fines' are NOT fines. This company has as much right to fine you as I do!

Ignore them and their threats of intended Court (won't happen).

WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T REPLY, DON'T APPEAL AND DON'T PAY!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
