Hope it goes well tonight Elfen.

I hate marzipan too Linda - blaaaah...

Nice coffee maker Becky, what do you use at the moment?

At home I have a cafetiere, at work I have a gold filter cup top - I hate cleaning the cafetiere and you only get one mug each out of it so I need something a bit bigger I think but I dont want to be buying filters so gold filter is good - might get it on payday :D

I thought the same about Becky and the salty stuff!

I love Marzipan, when I was a kid I used to buy blocks of the stuff with my pocket money. Now I'm an adult I drink Amaretto instead! My cake wont have marzipan and icing on though cos then I can't eat it with cheese.

I'm not posh Spud - I bought a bed set for £25 and it had a runner with it, but it slides off every time I get into bed. I don't make the bed, but it's a bit silky so if I left it on the floor I'd step on it and slip and go flying!

Psychiatrist was really nice, she says I need to write to the ME clinic, and copy in everyone, saying what I'm not happy about with the letter. She was really positive about everything, she's going to refer me back to the psychologist and push for me to go to the top of the waiting list, she says it's not fair for me to go back to the bottom and wait another 9 months when I was seeing him before. She's also told me to self refer to the woman's councelling service, which she says is good. If it's the place I'm thinking of I've been suggested for the board of directors and I've heard really good things about them. So, really positive!

Does anyone know if you get tesco clubcard points if you buy petrol? I just bought £32 worth of petrol and spent £1.50 in store and only got 2 points.

Sounds like the visit went really well Ames! Are you seeing her again?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

It's breakfast dinner and tea here too.

I love coffee and want a better machine, but I'm not keen on the idea of pods as they must be so much more expensive than just buying coffee? I want a good espresso machine, the one I've got now's not too good, it takes half an hour to warm up and you only get a couple of cups before it's just coffee coloured water coming out.

Thanks red - am dithering over buying a nice dressy top to give me a bit of confidence.

I'm only going to ice and marzipan the top of the cake so it can be taken off and eaten how you like

Linda, this was supposed to be my discharge appointment but I asked if I could see her once more to make sure all the referrals have gone through and are in place and she was fine with that. And based on the past, if things start getting bad again I can just ask my GP to re refer me and I'll see her pretty quickly. I just wish I hadn't spent the first couple of years fighting her and resisting her ideas.

I want an expresso one too but they are pricey for a good one so I'll get a filter coffee one for now and get a posh milk frothing/expresso one next year sometime :D

The cup top thing sounds good - puts me off making it at home when I only want one cup and I have a big cafetiere. OH has got a Moka which I love but that is a real pain to clean!

Mmmm might buy one of these:
    http://www.johnlewis.com/230841698/Product.aspx

1.5 litres of coffee and no need for filters papers - wow! :D

Lovely! Does it have a timer thing on it? I got one as a moving-in present from my Mum to this place it has a timer system - so I can put the water in and the coffee in the night before and it will have fresh coffee ready for when I wake up...but... I never use this feature because I keep thinking to myself "what a waste of electricity" :o

I must admit I am tempted by senseo coffee pod machines, as OH doesn't like anything other than instant coffee! So using my giant 10 cup coffee machine to make enough coffee for my flask plus a cup feels a bit of a waste sometimes...
