Selling baby clothes on ebay - advice?

I listed some items on eBay, all either NEXT or Disney for 0-3 months upto age 3. The Disney sold for 99p but most of the NEXT items didn't sell. It's not something I sell regularly but was wondering what advice others could give about selling these items. I had a photo, stated they were used a few times but had no stains etc, stated size on label & offered to state measurememnts. Anything else I could do when I relist these?

Yvonne, I am terrible at selling baby clothes. I was selling brand new tagged items and couldn't even get starting bids at cost price.
Yet I think there are other sellers on here that do well, see if Angelcake is around, I'm sure she's mentioned she sometimes sells baby clothes.

Were these listings each for just one item? If so, maybe try listing bundles instead of individual items? Since there are loads of baby clothes in charity shops and at boot sales, many of them similarly good quality and condition, p&p can be uneconomical for single items.0

Yes they were mainly single items, will try putting some outfits together & seeing how they go.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

the trouble with baby and kids clothes is that its pretty cheap to dress your kids with new stuff nowerdays.
i found that designer stuff like tommy hillfiger, celvin klein, monsoon and the like sells well but most of the other stuff sit in my dining room.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -
I recently listed some good quality (Next/Gamboree) baby clothes at 99p start and didn't have any bids either.
As CMP stated, there's so many lovely items available in charity shops/boot sales without the p&p costs.0 -

Just wanted to second this. I've been looking for baby clothes on Ebay lately, and it's just not worth bidding most of the time, because by the time you add on p+p (even if it's just a quid or so), you start getting towards shop prices. I've been tending to bid on smallish lots - three or four items. You do see people selling 30 or 40 items in one go, but I never bid on those because:
1. I don't think babies need that many clothes!
2. There's inevitably going to be a few items I don't like, and I resent paying postage for stuff that's going straight to Oxfam!0 -
I have loads of bubba clothes that I want to sell but after checking all the past lots on ebay it just isnt worth my while to do so. I am just keeping them to give away or keep for my nextWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

things that sell well from what ive found:
special outfits
t-shirts with "cool" logos / images
and good name brands - monsoon always sells well, as does gap, next can be hit and miss - most stuff can be bought in their sales for 3/4 quid - character outfits are good sellers too
id sell the best stuff individually and the rest in very cheap lots to clear them (personally)See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
I too got my boys baby clothes out, sorted out what I thought could sell,
then my husband came in the room picked up the first item and said ' arrh I loved them in that !'
That combined with the worry that someone would reject my babes stuff as not being good enough for them put me off !!!
I agree with what others have said here , bundles of 2-4 items sell well though.
Good luck

The latest craze seems to be these 'Reborn' dolls. I have seen a lot of baby clothes fetch good prices if the title says ' Baby / Reborn Dress'.0
