Mmmmmm orange cake sounds lovely - think I need cake now and all I have instead is chocolate

Right I am off to do something this time

Orange cake is VAST (8 egg mixture, made in an angel food cake tin). It's to go in the freezer so I can take it back to my parents for Christmas.

Need to clear up the kitchen, but the utility room is cold :o

Tomorrow I need to make snowflake biscuits and possibly some star biscuits (need to pick up some gold glitter when I'm on my christmas cake course on Sunday).

Oh well... better get the kitchen cleared a bit, then do my physio (haven't done any yet, and it's meant to be three times a day ) and then have an early night. Hope to get some ironing done during some of my calls tomorrow...

Oh... and when I've done the kitchen I can bring the tree in!

Oooh.. £46 on ebay so far.. not a huge amount but there are several days left on most stuff.

I'll do the new list in a sec.. I have a nasty tummy ache today.. :( It seems never ending.

I saw a girl from uni today.. she said they turned up for an exam at 9;15 this morning.. the idiots had double booked the room so they had to wait 2 hours for the first lot to finish so they could do theirs.. how appalling is this? I am so very glad I am out of that rightnow.. i'd have gone mental!!! They are so incompetant!

Loo.. List.. then I may get food.. or I may just have a cuppa and go to bed.

I'm about to post something irrelevant so I'll go and do 7 bits of tidying when I've posted:rotfl:

Does anyone know where I can get something like THIS but cheaper I was just wondering if someone had seen something similar on their travels xx

Evening....gawd I'm shattered. Had my first 'meeting' at work today, luckily I didn't chair it but OMG it was over 2 and a half hours long and a 70 mile round trip and it finished me off. Came home straight to bed and then was awoken for a chippy tea, which wasn't nice at all, chippy standards have declined round here, I digress, half unconscious I tried to eat it then ordered back to bed by hubby.

I'm awake now but urgh, today was gruelling.

I have decluttered 3 more parcels to the post office and have 2 more to wrap and send but that'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Crafty, well done you...you scholar ....;):D:rotfl::T

Summermoon, wow, amazing situation...so pleased for you and your family.:T

Just having a sit down and a :coffee: cos I've trashed the kitchen. Made a couple of trays of mince pies to take to work tomorrow - put sponge tops on some of them for a change. Also I've peeled loads of pots for Xmas and they are par boiled and cooling for the freezer for roasties.

I boght some of the Asda beef (£4 kilo) and have sliced some up for steaks. Did this last year and it worked really well. I also have to confess to having bought 2 more big pieces which are in the freezer for next year.

Summermoon - very scarey, hope the man is OK.

Well off to sort out the chaos in the kitchen......I may be some time.

  • Soappie whilst I remember - catching up on the thread - I would like your venison stew recipe as DD1's boyfriend and his dad shoot every week. As long as they dress it for me I can cope, bit squeamish about innards!!!
