No thanks to !!!!! of a deputy head, who has changed what was a positive report written by nice mentor, into a negative one with "begun to do things" all the way through it! She said that one of my targets is teamwork! Oh, and she had the cheek to say to me "make sure that you write your comment and bring it back tomorrow cos we've got to post it and the deadline's getting close!" - as if it's my fault that she rearranged my meeting to be later! She didn't even have the courtesy to turn up to my meeting on time!
Have let LadyL know on the phone, and she's really pleased as both of our results have gone well today, so thank you for all of the vibes. She probably won't get back online tonight to post, but she's well and happy.

If I were you I'd be almost tempted to ask the Dep Head what her definition of teamwork is. But I'd wait until all the paperwork's been sent off. Can you make sure you get a copy of it before it goes - just in case?

CONGRATULATIONS SEXYMOUSE!!!!Greenbee - that's pants about the probationary period....zara*elise wrote: »That's awful greenbee! What's the point of asking you to do so much training if it doesn't help them evaluate your performance? Have you spoken to someone about it? And you're right, they shouldn't have involved HR before someone had informed you.
So has your boss told you what areas they want to evaluate you on further?
I'm seriously tempted to write a very forthright note back... but I'm going to speak to my mentor first. I have points to make about expectations being set, that the targets he's now giving me need to be clearly defined, with dates, metrics etc and that they would have been perfectly achievable within the original 90 days with the appropriate planning and support. Given that my contract says that if my performance is satisfactory my employment will be made permanent, surely his inability to plan/measure is not my problem?
Mind you, I could just put my CV up on monster and take advantage of the 1 week notice period sometime in the next three months...:D0
