  • Placed my order Sunday evening.

Parcel arrived by Parcel Force just now at 5 o'clock Thursday.

Small order would have fitted in a jiffy bag.Came in a great big cardboard box and really well packed.

I fell out with Zooplus - the main screen said 10% discount for first orders, but I only got 5%, so we e-mailed back and forth and they absolutely refused to accept they have ever offered 10% discount even tho I had a screenshot! It was only a couple of quid, so I gave up and decided not to bother ordering again. Delivery was packed OK as far as I can recall, and didn't take too long so no complaints on that aspect.

  • I will check mine now, as I thought I was getting 10% too.

It only took 3 days to come btw, it arrived yesterday. It was packed really well in a cardboard box with those big bubble wrap thingies.

I have used Zooplus for a couple of years now and always order 10kg bags of cat food. Anything over £29 is post free. I have just received a order on Wednesday which I placed online on Sunday. I think that's pretty quick considering it comes from Munich in Germany. It all arrived in perfect condition although in the past it has been badly packed and when I emailed them they replied straight away and gave me a refund and picked up anything that was damaged. Now they pack everything with bubble wrap so it does not move around. I'm very happy with them and I collect i-points too. They even sent my cat a free toy for Christmas.

they deliever to me in cardboard boxes with strapping, which usually cuts in and rips the boxes.

this order I had to pick up two of the bulk buy bozita offers..I don't rememebr how many that is...80ish? packets of cat food as two of the boxes being delivered split, falling all over our drive and under the delivery van. Its not the end of the world, because I'm here to sort it out, if it were just someone delievering, or if I worked that would be very annoying.

I also once bought a cat tree delievered in a box, and the pieces had punctured the box in places.

Its not a huge deal, but I'd prefer it not to happen as often....
  • If you email ZooPlus and tell them it arrived in bad condition they will refund and replace. They did when this happened to me and it did not cost me anything. My cat loves Bozita and I order 18 or more packs a time along with a 10kg of Royal Canin biscuits. Since they changed the packing with bubble wrap it seems to keep them altogether.
But do email them, they are very helpful and will get back to you. let us know what happens.

The problem I had was this was happening every order. Due to poor packaging. No matter what its a hassle having to keep complaining. After 6 months of this happening and no sign of improvements with there packaging I took my business elsewhere. So purchases now arrive in one piece and i don't have to constantly chase up because of damaged items

When this happened before ...years ago, they offereed to refundreplace...but I've picked it all up now.....nothing to repair or replace...accept my time.....and they can't do that! And yes, I just asked DH and he said it happened every order when we were in london....and both recent ones.

BTW, we had three boxes of food, with a couple of hundred pounds worth of food...two of those broke and spilled (I.e. the bidg bx opened spilling the tetra packs, not the tetra packs damaged) the third was contained....here it was on my drive an ok if it had been on a normal side of the road house...not up our drive, would have been harder...

I would still give them feedback, they do take it seriously. I had to complain quite a few times and I also changed the couriers to DHL and paid a few quid, as it seemed it was Royal Mail who flung the boxes around.
Although now it appears they only use Royal Mail (GLS) and it has improved. I use them because I can't hump big sacks of biscuits around and the Bozita is cheaper.

I can understand why you gave up, I almost did myself but I could not find
anywhere that had Bozita at such a good deal and they eventually improved their packing.
