How long did your delivery from zooplus take?

Just ordered some food from here as it was the cheapest I could find for this particular food (orijen puppy 2.5kg) when you take into consideration delivery costs etc. However I have just found out they ship from Germany and I presume this will cause a delay, which might be problematic as I dont have that much in. If you have ordered petfood from zooplus how long did it take to come?

I got my first pack from Bern foods but the size I want is out of stock.

I have never found a delay with zooplus but for cheap orijen food I use berriewoods who do next day delivery.

I used them a couple of months ago and was pleased with the service and delivery. My only quibble was because I was paying with the ipoints vouchers they wouldn't let me have the new customer discount, but delivery wise, no problems.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Thank you everyone. I have bookmarked berriwoods for next time in case zooplus takes too long. I have also ordered another trial pack from Bern pet foods as last time they delivered next day. Whilst this isnt the most economic way to buy, I dont want to be stuck with another huge bag of food thats no good. I have 4 bagfulls of other foods that didnt suit our dog, but Im going to donate these to a rescue!

Im pleased to say after a very slow introduction that ORIJEN puppy actually suits him. He has had a lot of problems with other dry foods including Burns, Arden Grange, JWB and Pero. I have concluded that grain makes his bowels loose. He used to have about 7 or 8 bowel movements a day but he is down to 3 on orijen which corresponds to the 3 meals he has. His motions have firmed up nicely.

Normally it seems to take over a week. I stopped using them because because of the poor packaging. I was spending £100 plus most months and the stuff used to arrive falling out of the boxes. I kept complaining but it never got better so took my business elsewhere
  • I have used them in the past but there was a problem with one of the items I ordered. I called the customer services number a number of times during the day (during the hours their website says somebody is there) and no answer ever! The only way to get through to anybody was via emails! I wrote to them that I had a problem with the item and they just send me a new one even though I didn't want it anymore and then that product broke also and they didn't want to return my money until I explained to them that I was entitled to a refund. It took 3 or 4 months to sort out. Would probably be much faster if somebody was there on the other end of the line rather than emailing somebody?
  • I've not ordered from them for a while, but it use to take about 5-7days. They do have a large range which I am impressed with but their service is not too good.

Last order four days. Pretty quick. Order before the same. Packaging IS dreadful though. Hadn't used them for a couple of years and remember that packaging was a big part of why!
