they would probably try and wiggle out of paying though
at least if you knock on a door in a council estate so long as their dog doesnt bite you they nearly always answer the door and pay for things if they can

I don't know why anyone would need their wheelie bin washed every time it had just been emptied. I recycle carrier bags by having them as a liner in the kitchen bin so there's no mess in the wheelie bin when they're tied up, and anything that goes straight out into the wheelie bin is first wrapped up in a sheet of newspaper.
Maybe the wheelie bin gets a quick wash once a year.

And the OP never came back to read anything after the 4th comment.......

And yes, we still page £3 a month to clean our green bin that has grass cuttings and food waste in. It would be honking in the summer otherwise and I'd rather spend £3 and get somebody else to do it than do it myself.

we have to place our grass cuttings in black general waste bin along with food waste, but as we use bin liners it does not need cleaning that much and when i do this i clean the yard at the same time

Not me, it seems an expense I don't need. My bins don't get cleaned at all and have never had any problems.

It's a good idea, probably won't make a fortune but will be good networking. I bet you get some car valeting business through your new venture. Perhaps you could do special rates for your bin cleaning customers. It would be easy to stuff a flyer through the door after you have cleaned the bins. I agree about charging for say minimum of 3 months in advance.

How are things going? Are you still in the wheelie bin cleaning business or not?

    Jamesy

Did you get it up and running?

I'd really like to know whether your trading or not?

I can really see how keen you were to know.

You went to all the trouble of signing up to ask this in a thread previously last posted in over a year earlier, and then left within 2 minutes never to return. And that was 18 months ago!

I suggest this thread is now locked to prevent any further shenanigans.
