So you do need to make sure that you follow the collection team round and/or clean the bin fairly soon after it has been emptied.
Sometimes the most obvious things are those that need pointing out. I hadn't thought about that until you said. Good job I wasn't thinking of setting up!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

What were the start-up costs and what is the best way to get the customers, and do you have any pics as to the set-up of the van, ie where does the tanks go and the pump, really looking to get into this

Hi can anybody tell me where to get the recycling filters from and what type are they.

Do people really have their bins cleaned?
Its a bin, its supposed to stink, if it gets too bad I squirt a bit of bleach in it. I wouldnt dream of paying someone to clean it.
I came in here to say that.... it's not like it's kept in the house - mine is as far away as possible, doesn't smell anyway but wouldn't care if it did.
It baffles me - why is it people wouldnt dream of paying some to mow their grass etc, but happily pay a bin cleaner & window cleaner etc!0 -
There are at least two bin cleaning businesses operating here, a one-man-band has been cleaning bins in our street for at least 12 yrs. Not mine however. Walked past one day and the stuff he was spraying the bins to clean them smelled more foul than an uncleaned bin!
One upside - it does provide someone with a legit income.
I've never paid for a window cleaner either. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
i wouldn't have thought £1 per bin is viable , by the time you've paid your overheads you're not going to make anything unless you can get a lot of customers in a small area0
