Cerazette problems
Comments
-
Iv been on Cerazette since last October, bled for about 10 days a week after starting it & since then nothing. Have done a few pregnancy tests just to make sure because as nice as it is not to have periods its best just to check!!
I went on it from Cilest as I was gettin migraines during the pill free week, these have stopped but it has turned me into a miserable, libidoless moaning moo!! Im perminantly shattered & I know im annoying my boyf with being so down all the time! Has anyone else been like this on it? Is it best to stick with it? I like the face it has a 12 hour window as I think I would struggle with only a 3 hour one as with other mini pills.0 -
I was on microgynon until I had a DVT, then went onto cerazette on the recommendation from the nurse, did not agree with me, had permenant headaches, so bloated, put on weight, bled for 4 weeks non stop, was only on it 3 months, and couldn't carry on, for me the side effects weren't worth it at all0

I think I posted before about having the tests and smear etc done?
The smear came back normal, phone about swabs tomorrow.
Ive not been taking the pills anymore since a couple of weeks ago. I had a bleed a couple of days later which wasnt really a lot, then a slight bleed a day or two later and nothing since. dunno whats happening now lol. Scary when you bleed, scary when youre not and waiting for it haha.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -
Should I be concerned ?
I was on Cerazette for over a year, fine no problems, came off for a couple of months in feb/march time, no problems, went back on it april ish I think. Missed two days tablets a couple of days ago, have took them for past two days. Went to bed for sleep yesterday afternoon fine, woke up, went to toilet an hour later and needed clean PJ's and had to stick pad in knickers. I'm totally shocked, didnt expect that one bit, it's bright red fresh stuff as well (TMI i know).
I think I'm just stressing n need to relax and chill out.0 -

normally your shouldnt bleed in cerazette once your system is used to it and you are taking it every day!0

I took it for 9 months and bled lots and very irregular. Just couldn't stand it any longer so went back to microgynon, which I had taken for years before being persuaded to change and seems to suit my body much better.
We are all different. If it's not right for you speak to your nurse again.Looking for the sunshine after the rain

I've been on Cerazette for about 6 years now, and apart from the very, very occasional bleed, (which my gynae consultant says is ok), I'm doing fine on it. No bleeding from day 1, which my doctor says was unusual , but then I may be changing practices as I don't really get on with her, lol. I changed from Femodette to this one as I was getting bad headaches and migraines. I still get the occasional migraine, which is a bit worrying really.0
