Or turn up a few mins early for the very start of the session - that way you get seen first0

In Belfast there are a lot of different clinics across the city open different hours including night times. Hopefully you'll get one to suit. You can check here

I'm on cerazette too. Only had one problem, quite similar to yours. I took the pill late one day and it caused my period to start, I carried on taking the pill but my period didn't stop. Very light but enough that I had to use products.
I came off the pill after 3 weeks and after 6 days of having a proper period it had stopped and my body had reset itself. That was 2 years ago and i've not had any problems since* Save £s - Lose lbs *

Dear honeyD
I was also on Cerazette for 2 years as combined pills turn me into a self harming psyco, it was great at first, everything was nice and mellow but after 2 years I was a libidoless zombie. I then moved to Noriday which was fine for a year then the constant bleeding started, 3 weeks out of 4!!
I gave up with pills in the end and have moved onto the Depo shot which after a couple of cycles has really settled down.
I hope you finally find something that agrees with you, I just wish the journey to find the right contraceptive wasn't so damn painful.
LOL Emski x0 -
Aw Emski, Im glad youve found something that is working for you.
I called my local family planning clinic today just to see if I had to make an appointment and they put me through to speak to a doctor lol.
I have to go in and tell them I need to have a smear, swabs and an examination
I could have gone tonight but was a scaredy cat and next available time for me is Monday night so will see, I have to go then!
The doctor said it could be that the type of pill doesnt agree with me but they have to rule out everything else too so they need to do the examination and smear etc.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -

Don't worry they will be really really nice and they have seen more ladies parts than you've had hot dinners so it's all very matter of fact - never a pleasant experience but you will be absolutely fine!0 -
Well, I had it all done yesterday. Can I just say Oucccch much? lol. There was a lady GP learning and she tried to do the speculum thing first and my god it hurt! The other lady did it after and that was fine lol. Gotta wait to hear the results now.
The doctor I spoke to said she would recommend stopping the pill to let my body reset itself as that wont happen since I didnt have a gap between pills as I should have done, but I was told to just carry on by my own GP! So as off last night I stopped those so we will see how it all goes. Thanks for all the advice xWeight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -

Sorry to hear the speculum hurtIt'll all be worth it when you get the results - when you hear everything's clear you can relax in the knowledge that your gynaecological health is fine, and it's just the Cerazette! You are not a 'hypochondriac' for worrying - bleeding can (very rarely) be a sign of something more sinister, and it is always sensible to get it checked out.

Sounds like you were unlucky honeyD - I usually find it uncomfortable but not painful, so just for next time remember this isn't a typical experience and it's bound to be better
Hope you have more luck in getting your pill sorted!0
