Not the angry Mewbie. I dont miss him at all TBH.

I dont think he liked himself much either towards the end which is why the re-invention.

Mewbie has, and I dont say this lightly, a brilliant mind.
Having been mistaken for the chap I read through some of his back catalogue. He certainly seemed rather upset by the events of a few weeks back, but I suspect rather than self loathing (the guy was clearly in love with his persona) it might be more a case of MSE rather than self loathing that led to his demise. Looking at the posts, and guessing at those that were removed, I suspect that too much questioning of the rules is not the best way to proceed for a long 'career'.

With the 'brilliance' comes of course the dark side, the doubts and the paranoia. Cursed with a brain in a brainless world as he might put it himself... had he thought of it.

If he had still been around I might have written him a poem. But we probably wouldn't have gelled.
  • pi55 money up the wall?

    debt?

give free houses away to scumbags whilst making decent people pay massive prices?

tax people for buying somewhere to live?

Insist that scumbags have enough room for their street rat feral kids, whilst not giving a damn about the room for decent people's kids?

welcome to britain - where we care about you - unless you work and pay tax, whereby we screw you instead.
You forgot Football hooliganism. We're quite hot on that too.

    good point!!!!

we do excellent lefties. particularly rabid and shouty if you dare disagree with them.

And on the subject of rabid frothing at the mouth, have you noticed the foam-flecked righties who swarm out of the woodwork at the mere murmur of words like:

    benefits

    tax

    speed cameras

    state

    government

    welfare

I could go on. Myself, I think it's some kind of instinctive reflex. Certainly, no activity at the cerebral level can be detected.

    Very Pavlovian.

And I wish people would stop banging the bloody dinner gong...
