Help Electricians quote does not add up!

Hi, he did all the additional jobs while he was here doing the main work which was part of the whole extension quote. The extra lights were planned in terms of when he he was doing all the wiring before plastering/ boarding; we just didn't know before the extension work has started how many switches etc we would need.

Our total for extras comes to about £600 inc vat the builders total comes to £1112 including vat (for extension of bedroom light switch, three kitchen lights, heating controls labour only, one tv aerial point, 7 double socket front plate replacements).

Hi to everyone,
Took all the advice above and found out that sparky and the builder had tried to overcharge me by about £800! When challenged and after firing off a letter detailing my concerns and requesting an itemised bill the figures were dramatically adjusted. It is a shame really as the majority of the building work etc was fine and there were no issues with regards to payment of the first three major installments.
