Tocco lite

I have just bought a Tocco Lite and no matter what i do i can't set the time and date.i have tried settings-time and date but it keeps coming up with 7 jan 1980 i cant go any further can any one help?

Hi,

Try restoring the phone to factory settings and setting up the phone all over again, sometimes the software gets confused a little and needs a bit of a kickstart.

I have also just bought a Tocco Lite and am having the same problem. There is no setting for 'restore factory settings' but options including 'restore all'. Is that the same thing and will it wipe out any information already entered?

Yes that would be the same and it will erase any settings and most likely your phone numbers and messages too.

If its still causing a problem after this I would contact the seller you bought it from as there must be a problem with the installed firmware

Thanks all for your help-i have eventually managed to fix it . I am not used to Samsung Phones as i have always had sonys or nokias

I shall bookmark this thread for future reference on xmas day-as it seems toccolites are the in thing and boy what a job we had getting a pink one for her ladyship-aka darling daughter.

Will let her try and sort out setting the date after dinner for a few hours-should keep her quiet- and if she cant sort it by turkey sandwich tea time direct her to this thread
