Just logged on to their website for the first time and have noticed that they've charged me for accessing my voicemail. Is that right?!
I'm on a 12 month deal with web n walk with 300 inclusive minutes (and have prob 295 mins left!!)

yep, im afraid so, voiecmail is chargeable, thats why i use a 3rd party VM service0
-
Think I'll have to look into that if I stay with T-Mobile!
Anyone you can reccommend?0 -
why bother.. call them and ask to turn your vmail off.
it used to waste me almost 10 quid every month on 3, till i turned of.
no loss of client, if they cant reach you, they ll call you back.. or you can ring them0 -
SOLO and COMBI have chargeable voicemail.
FLEXT is inclusive in the allowance.
As mentioned you could turn it off if you wanted or switch to flext.0 -
I was charged for voicemail on my FLEXT plan0

Has your allowance ran out? When did you sign up to flext? When was your last upgrade?0

sure, its a program called HulloMail, but i think its only available for smartphones, and possibly maybe even only android based phones. I have the G2 touch so it allows me to get visual voicemail while forwarding my calls to another number. to pick the mails up, i either look at the list and play them straight on the phone, or dial a number which isnt chargeable.
TMobile used to be the only operator that charged for using a 3rd party VM service, but they saw sense and now its included as part of your allowance.
Edit: heres the link: http://www.hullomail.com/gb/indexGB.html
Looks like its available for a variety of phones, but only if you can receive push emails, where it will notify via email when you have a new message, and attach the voicemail as a sound clip0 -
Hi there.
Funnily enough, I just did a google search for that - Signed up too! Now, free VM! :-)
Seems a good service, it can be used without an App - but they will be releasing a iPhone App soon. So it's all good!
Thanks for the reply..
Looks an excellent service. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -
no problem, glad to help. It is good and the ability to listen to your mails from a list is great, im sure youll get this when they release the iphone app. Only problem is that sometimes it can take a little while for their systems to forward on the messages.
For example, i get an email almost straight away telling me i have a message, but sometimes it takes a while for the app to actually notify me. Not a problem as I can just go into the app and manually refresh when i see the email and its all good. PLus it may just be me as my connection has been playing up the last couple of days.
Apart from that, no more Tmobile charges! just remember if you switch back to tmo voicemail, to deactivate the HulloMail otherwise messages may just get lost0
