GPRS settings for unlocked phone..

Hi all,

I recently had a Motorola v525 unlocked, now using an  O2 sim (was Vodafone). I am having trouble getting the GPRS settings for it though, have tried through the O2 website, and from the handset options.. each time the text with the settings does not arrive... Can they be entered manually onto the handset?

Unlocked a Nokia 3200 at the same time and had no problem gettin the settings for that phone.

Thanks for the suggestions.. still having trouble in getting the settings..

The Motorola and O2 sites don't give an option for a Motorola V525 on their 'get settings' sections.. Is this phone only available locked to vodafone?.. therefore an unlocked phone not recognised (now using an O2 pay as you go sim)

I tried using the 'file save as' site.. but it is a tad complicated for me.. I tried to enter the settings but there is extra info needed I think.. this is what I get below:

i think it may need reflashing with generic firmware as the voda firmware is probably made to work with voda only

my son had his phone unlocked from orange then had the settings sent to his phone but his phone is a nokia which i think is more simple but i had to email them for my panasonic which was unlocked from orange and they sent the settings via email then i put them in manually

when i changed from t-mob to virgin i had to call virgin and the sent me new setting via text for a nokia
