I would of said the clue was in how many texts you had in your allowance, no MMS allowance.0
-
So you didn't check and now you've written to Orange to complain?0
-
Didn't tell me in store and no mention on contract. Should have looked before I signed.
Customer services terrible and have written a letter of complaint.
Use 02!!!
Not really - MMS is not SMS - O2 have included it for years but that's O2! So I don't see the issue, most other networks also don't have it included. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -
Apple were slow to introduce MMS functionality into the iPhone as they viewed it as an obsolete service. The reasoning was, why pay to MMS a photo when you can email it for free? As more people get smartphones, you may find in time you will only rarely need to send a MMS...MFW Challenge: Mortgage free in 2008! ACHIEVED!

True! But email isn't going to take over the world with regards to MMS, not everyone is savvy enough to setup POP3 / SMTP on their Phones. That's why MMS will be around for a long time.. but 'it just works' .. Needless to say, if using email you'll have to have an inclusive internet bundle. If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0 -
I've noticed a lot of smart !!!!!! in this section. Very sarcastic answers to posts.
Yes of course I can send an email to someone. Have all mobiles got an email function?0 -
Most phones made in the last 18 months will have email, just a matter of getting the info from your provider and entering into the handset.
Its a good idea not to have the handset check too often as even if there's no mail to be sent or received the phone still has to send your log on details each time.
One guy I spoke to had his set to check every 10 minutes and at the end of the month had used over 30 meg !!0 -

Agreed, I'm very technical and i use email on my phone via a browser not by the phone itself as orange charge for push email too. As such i still use MMS to send photos from my phone. I did not know 02 included it in a text allowence, i do wish orange would too, as like yourself i have to pay to send them as well.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
