Packet Data?

What the &^%$ is Packet Data?

Found it on my works phone Nokia 6030.....

Tries to download a nicer ringtone and couldn't.

Any ideas.

Packet data is GPRS - General Packet radio service. A slow but decent way for mobiles to access internet.


If you want to get it working. Delete all access points/message settings etc from your phone and THEN goto the Nokia website click support then settings and then follow the instructions.

Once this is done you will have to set your phone to use the new settings (set them as default)
