Didnt robbie start singing too early?? Shame stacey went, but hope Joe wins :)

House all tidy, kids couldnt believe all the clutter in the living room had gone! I was quite ruthless, I even found a raffle prize I won a few months ago lol which is now a lovely pressie for sis :o
I was given a collage photo frame last year for xmas which I am ashamed to say I havent even put photos in yet so my task tomorrow is to do that. I love having pics of the kids all over the house :D
Also will need to empty fishtank (which has had no fish in it for weeks, probably months now :o) and put it on freecycle!!

With the front room decluttered its amazing how different you feel mentally once its done, its like you declutter your mind also.

    evening!

sunny - hope your Dad is ok (((hugs)))

I've not long got back from my mammoth shift at work - what a day! my ears are still ringing from the noise - one particular lady who has screamed( and i mean screamed:eek:) at top volume all day. It is deafening. In her defense she is poorly but it is still a lot to take for 11 hours. I'm back there at 7am in the morning, I hope those still there have got some sleep.Last time it was like this I ended up with a migraine - fingers crossed I dont get another.
Was disappointed at SCD - Ali should still be in - she scored a perfect 50 and still got kicked off the show!

    Joe to win Xfactor!:D

Redruby - you can keep Robbie, he looked like he was high on something to me! I'll have the muscley male free dancer off SCD(he can throw me around anytime:o:D)

off for a soak in the bath now

    TTFN x

    Hi all,

Glad you've had a good day Curlytop.

Sitting here in a cape with hood up as radiator has had some kind of conniption and is not working so need to keep from freezing. OH informs me that we have less than quarter of a tank of oil so will have to get some to make sure we have heat for the rest of winter....bah, humbug, another €500 gone!

Had a very lazy day, intended to do some bits of shopping this pm but was visited by a relative who is always just staying a minute.....he left 4 hours later. Still he brings me up to date on all that's going on that I miss out on as I am not out and about every day.

SunnyGirl, glad that your dad seems to be ok, my OH has been getting words mixed up and wrong since he had his stroke last year, but we are grateful that it is the only thing happening, we sometimes have fun getting round to what he really wants to say!

Will probably get tree in the next few days, OH will put lights up and then the grandsons will hopefully decorate it, putting it in here this year will leave more space in living room for extra people who will be around for Christmas.

Csarina, sorry to hear that OH is still having 'dizzies', hopefully new consultant will sort him out.

Hugs to all in need or want, sleep well

    Marie

  • Hi Chums ,
just got back from my pals in Dartford.Had a really lovely day there was a whole crowd of us and we all nattered and ate from around 3p.m. until 9 tonight.Pup was good if a bit dejected after her shots .I will attempt to make her a little coat tomorrow. Still lots of stuff to do cardwise tomorrow as well as I have several birthdays in the next fortnight as well as Christmas.Trouble is my DD keeps 'borrowing' my handmade cards, as she says they are prettier than the shop bought ones.(cheaper too) So I shall have to make a few more in the morning.
My Gil Holcombe book came today from Amazon and I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but it seems to be quite interesting.
Well time to go off to the land of Nod ,I keep sneezing I hope I'm not coming down with anything I shall dose myself up I think and hopefully kill off any lingering bugs. There was someone at college yesterday that kept coughing and spluttering all over the place I shall be cross if I have caught a cold from her.
    Well I'm off now,
    night,night God bless
    JackieO xx
