What has happened to Vodafone

• if ever there was a reason to try and get out of a contract early this is it. I can't believe they think this level of service is acceptable. i can't believe you have allowed them to continue messing you around for so long i would have stopped this carry on asap. If i were you i would cancel all dealings with them imediately before it costs you any more money.
• I left vodafone as they went from being the best network to the worst one I have ever used. Their 3G service never worked, Where I lived (I supposedly lived in a great 3g coverage area) they promise phones back from repair in 2 weeks, texting you saying its at the store, ringing to confirm its there go in and be told "Oh We sent it back to HTC in thailand and its not back" Ringing customer care who don't give two hoots about the issue and when you ask for the complaints procedure they have a change of heart saying they'll send out a new phone. Which has the same issues on it.

Getting through to the senior technical manager in stoke who doesn't care and just offers free line rental until the situation is resolved, which as they admit can take months, and when you do get through to Banbury and get through to manager who lets you leave without penalty (Because the senior manager has suspended your service) and you return the equipment you find Vodafone take £600 + £99 to leave your contract! Then they turn round and say "so what"

So thats the problem with Vodafone, no one who works in their contact centres care or wants to help. Orange on the other hand have AMAZING customer service. I would never go back to Vodafone even if they paid me!!

UD, any money taken from your bank via D can be refunded, you just need to give a reason to the bank, such as the wrong amount of taken.

In my case, TV licensing took 1 years money too early, that i didn't mind. What i minded is they started to take the 2nd years money, which is odd as i didnt need another license it was a 1 year rental. They didn't reply well (i.e. werent happy to refund), so i told the bank to refund all my payments from a certain date, was about 6 payments over 6 months. Never heard from TV licensing again.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
• Hi folks,

In terms of contacting Vodafone, they have asked me to point out that Vittorio Colao is not the CEO of the UK side of Vodafone - that is Guy Laurence who can be contacted
at guy.laurence@vodafone.com.

Alternatively if you've got problems you can
can email the Web Relations Team via the Contact us form on its website quoting the code WRT135 in the subject
