Moving out of cable area not sure about my options?

Hi there we are about to move to a non cable area, we are currently with virgin media broadband 10mg, xl tv and unlimited phone but on loyalty package so getting all for £43 a month plus certain calls...which i love but cannot transfer.

We have looked at getting BT to reconnect line in new house and going to O2 for broadband as hubbie has mobile with them, so cheaper but not sure what to do about tv bit

Hubbie wants sky sports...is sky everything good? not sure but seems dear.

I rang virgin today and she said she could sort out my connection to bt (£44) and still have calls unlimited and they will sort out tv as well and all for same money i'm paying now......not sure how...would this be with sky? does anyone know?

Just trying to do the most cost effective way and i'm very confused, anybody in a non cable area got any recommendations please?

The lady said no matter who i go with i will only get 1mg broadband max in that area....i'm never sure whether its sales tactics or true.
