Instant access with fast pay

Now that the bonus has come to an end on my Natwest e-savings I need somewhere else to keep emergency cash.

I know Sainsbury, Ing, AA etc have good rates (or had) but do they also do fast pay as I like to know I can get cash into my current account quickly?

Any suggestions of who would fit the bill?

Thanks

The AA does not send faster payments, although it does receive them.

I believe that Tesco sends by faster payments, and has a high rate.

Or try your current bank? As internal transfers are instant. E.g. Halifax have an instant access account paying 3%.

Yes, but the OP wants it for "emergency cash", so four withdrawals could well be enough. It's good as an emergency account.

    Balance £5000 to £7000 pays 4% gross

True - just from reading all the Halifax threads many people's perception of "emergency" for an overdraft seems to be dip in every month for 2 weeks!

My Natwest e-savings ends soon too. I'm switching to Tesco.

    It's the only account with
    a) a decent rate (not the highest, but decent)
    b) no restrictions on number of withdrawals
    c) no complex balance requirements (like keeping more, or less than £x)
    d) Faster Payments in AND out

So the best for moving your savings in/out regularly.

    Unless anyone knows better.....
