Donaldtramp (and others who might be tempted to respond to never-in-doubt), can I suggest that you don't. Instead let's just ignore them. S/he can preach on his/her own thread.

Sulkisu - been here a few weeks, 10 posts and thinks she'll get a little clique group eh? Ok let the games begin - i'll now flood your thread ....... see how your merry little gang compare! :p

For info, this same person thinks it is acceptable to watch a friend LIE and CHEAT their DMP but thinks when the banks do wrong, WE are wrong..... :rotfl: :rotfl:

If it was my friend and I was silkisu (bearing in mind the OP) i'd be saying you can't do that, it's wrong, its against the principles of the dmp, its lying, its cheating - don't do it!

I would not come here asking for help on how to get round it!

    Cup of Hypocrite anyone? :D:D

I have a question on behalf of my friend. He has started a dmp with CCCS, but apparently has not disclosed all of his accounts. As I understand it, he wanted to keep a credit card even though it has a zero balance. He also has a savings account, which only had a few pounds in when he started the dmp, but recently he was given £3k by his father and has put this in the savings account. His total debt was £22k. I told him that this probably goes against the dmp and he could be risking his agreement with CCCS. My friends' view is that CCCS do not have the ability to check his accounts (I'm not sure if the savings account is listed on his dmp). My questions are can/do CCCS check credit files etc to see if a cleint has other accounts - e.g. credit card and savings account? If he declares the £3k, will he have to use all of it to clear his debts or can he keep some of it for emergencies or for his own use? My worry is that having finally sought help with his debts (he's been on the dmp for 2 years), he risks undoing all of the hard work by being thrown off of the plan.

I would have thought the main worry would be the actual cheating of the dmp, not undoing all the hard work - lol - pathetic! ;)

    Gotcha! :whistle::whistle:

    The facts eh?
    http://www.which.co.uk/news/2009/10/debt-write-off-hopes-damaged-by-high-court--186441

I'm pretty sure the High court knows the facts eh?
As for your shooting a dog anecdote, I have no idea what you are on about....And you are advising people????:rotfl:
Advising people that it is ok to take on debt on their good word and simply walk away from it? Where would we be if everyone had the same selfish attitude?

It's wrong and an attempt to get off with money that HAS to be paid.
I can't believe MSE is allowing the website to go anywhere near this subject.

Erm, I thanked your post cos it was funny.

You think I read which when I have someone that was at the recent court cases (the 12 test cases)? There are so many which reports and BBC reports but none have set precedence. See the date 15 10 2009! LOADS has happened since then hahahahaha

You really don't have a clue do you? You think one case will change the law?

See this - more recent as in days old! http://blog.creditissues.co.uk/

Not so clever now are we....? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It is the top score :o. I post a lot on the word games - you can knock 30 posts an hour in there. I've always said that the posts in the chit chat board (the Arms) should not go towards the post count. Having been a secretary in the past also means that I type very fast, making it easy to clock more posts that I otherwise would. :o

What a wonderful quote, which may yet come in handy! We have a poster on another thread who will be overjoyed (not) to be informed that Purley is near Gatwick.

Your geography is still pretty good, as they are in line with each other from Central London, but a good 20km apart.:j

Our dear 'friend' could never live under a flight path! Oh dear, no.;)
