Nothing really beats firefox.
I was trying out QtWeb but it has some niggles like not being able to post in some forums, and suggested searches taking priority over your search criteria, not linux version, if they sorted this it would be a good contender. It has private browsing and you can change the user agent.
Currently using Arora, very good very fast has none of the niggles QtWeb does but not as versatile.0 -
Of course, the truly hardcore would only ever possibly run Lynx from a command-line Linux microkernel : p0

Ive used Lynx, I like it in a geeky way.0

In Firefox go to tools and start private browsing, then it remembers zilch:j Arsenal fru & fru :j0

Definitely Firefox here.0

That explains why every single person who has tried it uses it as their only browser 100% of the time.
I suppose its the reason why no one uses safari at any rate.If Chrome's extensions take off, I struggle to think of a reason for anyone to use Firefox ever again.
I struggle for a reason why people still use IE but they do, but I wont be using chrome; same reason I dont use gmail.
Nothing really beats firefox thats why I always go back to it.0 -

More people use Safari than every Linux distro combined. :rotfl:Nothing really beats firefox thats why I always go back to it.
You keep saying this, but lots of browsers do. There are faster browsers, there are more standards compliant browsers, there are less resource-intensive browsers, and there are more secure browsers.
The only thing Firefox has going for it is its vast library of extensions. That's the only good thing about it. If it weren't for the extensions, everyone would see Firefox for the lacklustre browser it really is.0 -

And more people use firefox than those that use osx... what your point???You keep saying this, but lots of browsers do. There are faster browsers, there are more standards compliant browsers, there are less resource-intensive browsers, and there are more secure browsers.

Swap firefox with iphone and extensions with apps and you have another point. Anyway its besides the point it does have the extensions. If it didn't I'd probably be using something else but it does so I do.0
