Ooh glad I found this thread again :j I'm trying to get a bit of order back in my life - love many of the ideas on here. I've started doing a weekly spreadsheet and allocating various tasks to different days. I used to get overwhelmed by all the things I had to do and organise, and would end up doing very little. Must have a good read through here. And hi to friends old and new!

Thanks for bumping this, I really need to get myself organised again as I've fallen off the wagon major style and I miss being so organised. I'm also sick of forgetting thingsCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Just found this. Started to read through and feel (sad I know) quite inspired. I love being organised. Seem to have lost the knack lately so this is the kick up the bahookie that I need. Will continue catching up whilst reading current posts if that is ok.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Great Minds think alike Missymoo, I was thinking about this thread too and how I want to make a household binder, just talking with my sister about this, it took me a while to find the thread and now discover you had already resurrected it :j
Really want to get all the info in one place. Sudden death of someone I know brought it home to me that if something happens to me, accident, in hospital or worse, death, that my kids and husband know how and where to find stuff about the running of this home, our insurance details, house details, dentist, banking etc etc.
And ofcourse handy for myself too, knowing when the passports run out and insurances need renewing (although we get reminders through the post)0 -

I recommend the Flylady website that mentions control journals that talks about this subject. It is good at getting you organized.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0 -
Hey hows everyone getting on. I've started my binder, its a bit of a work in progress though, as my schedule for cleaning isn't really working, I need to have a rethink!0
