Somebody mentioned `blight` to me yesterday. Whats that? and will it get my cucumbers that are next to them and doing very nicely.
I got that new variety of tomato called `gardeners delight`that you dont have to pinch out apparently.

it supprising... how growing veg.....and cooking can bring back such memories... and they trigger off a memory of a certain person, or event in life.......i really do wish now that i spent a lot more time with them.....
your tomatoes...it sounds like it could be either some sort of bug or lack of a certain...mineral maybe....hopefully the link that noozam has given will pin point it.. i'm just about to go and have a nose now.....Work to live= not live to work0 -

Got some fungicide from wilkos to try. There are no flowers on them yet so will give it a shot.

Have you been feeding them? Tomorite, or one of the DIY chains own label tomato feeds will make a big difference to their health if used regularly. It's not difficult - you just put a capful or so in your watering can when watering the plants.

Been feeding them once a week. But we have had some very hot weather followed but some preety damp and cold, if that makes a difference.
(mine are outside)

Another thought Messy...
My hubby says I can only water mine early morning or evening. Water on leaves in heat of the day is bad apparently.
Could this be the problem?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Water them directly at the base so water doesnt get on the leaves and as early or as late in the day that I can. My grandad used to make it look so easy, half a dozen grow bags, chuck in a few plants and away you go!!!!
My cucumber is looking really healthy though.
