in Water bills
If you are a United Utilities customer, live in Blackburn, Preston or on the Fylde Coast (Blackpool, Fylde or Wyre), are living in rented property, are in receipt of benefits (inc Tax Credits) and have savings under £6000 you could save £££'s on your water bill by applying for a new pilot water tariff. The 'Support Tariff' bases your annual water bill on ability to pay rather than ratable value or metered usage. Households on very low income could see an annual reduction of £200+!
