coolltrikerchick - they already changed the withdrawl to once every 72 hours
so... thats....ummmmmmm about 4 days.....
the thing is if you win a biggy... what i would call £10-£15 then its worth waiting, and not playing, until you can withdraw your money... i think that amount is not worth gambling for the sake of the free £5 every day..
or is that just me:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -

Have had a think about this, I'm going to have to be really on the ball with deals, glitches, offers, learning new skills that could potentially make some money and reduce my cost of living. However I am £150.50 closer to my £10,000.00 goalComping wishlist for 2017

It's 3 days CTC. I have £20 in there waiting to come out, so I'll leave it 2 more days (Friday) and then withdraw the £20 and play with the £5 bonus that I have from playing yesterday. That should trigger me getting the following day's bonus (Saturday), which I'll play unless I'm waiting another 3 days to withdraw any winnings from the bonus on Friday. This could get complicated!0 -
2cats - depends if they scrap your bonus for withdrawing, recommend withdraw all bar quid then play one or two tickets per day till you get the bonus back again0

I've splashed some cash today. £6 for a circle punch as I was driven nuts trying to cut a neat circle last night and I'll use lots of circles in what I'm making. Just short of £8 for silver and gold pens and a black sharpie as mine have either run out (gold) or have got so old they leak ink everywhere (silver). £4 for a pack of white card (I go through tons of this!). And I've just spent £12 downloading some fab images to use in my artwork. The person who does the images allows you to use them for items for resale as long as you don't sell the images themselves, so no copyright issues. So that's about £31 to set me up for a fair while.
I'm not counting the £5 for BB as I withdrew when I won £5 yesterday before they brought in the 72 hour rule, so I figure that's accounted for.
I've taken into account the Valentines Day thing mentioned earlier and some of the images are love themed, so I can do some Valentines Day cards.0 -

I can't withdraw, though, Cally, as they have introduced this 72 hour thing. It should have been safe in my bank account by 3.15pm today, but I have to wait for Friday for it now.
My understanding is that any games I play will come out of cash rather than bonus until the cash is all gone, and only then will the bonus be paid. Earlier posters have suggested that you don't get your day+1 bonus until your day0 bonus is all used up, so I'd have to spend £25 (£20 cash and £5 bonus) to trigger another bonus. I'll see what happens tomorrow - if my £5 bonus is still sitting there then I'll wait it out till Friday. If it is gone then I'll tickle it with a game or 2 to see if I can trigger a bonus being paid on Friday. It's all a bit suck-it-and-see at the moment though, I think.0 -

Good idea you could put it on for a 7 day listing and if it doesn't sell return to the store (can you return games?? as long as they are unopened I expect) this way you won't loose out.0 -
Hi All.
I'm a little further on then you guys. I starred a similar thing in July 2007 with just £100. I spent the first £30 on stock from ebay and resold for £130. I made £3k in the first year after all costs, tax etc but i also grow my stock to about £5k in value.
i'm now buying and selling constantly and sold £9k of stock in the in the run up to Christmas and £30k in the whole of 2009. This was all on stock that is reduced now and winter stock reduced in the summer. I aim to make 25% - 50% per item, anything less and its not worth the hassle. Here are my key points to remember.
Knowledge - This is how you make your money. Specialise on something you know about ie i know nothing about cars but my girlfriend dad makes a living
buying and selling them. I'd lose money if i did it.
Research - You have to know your market, this is the most time consuming part.
Fees - Get a grasp of e-bays fees very quickly. They add up fast and you have to work this into your profit margin.
Postage and Packaging - find a good supplier of boxes and get friendly with the local postmaster, pays in the long run
Accounts - do them as you go along
Laziness - Capitalise on peoples laziness, i have sold items on ebay for others taking a cut of the profits just because they are too lazy to do it themselves.
Turnover - keep the stock turning over, stock that doesn't sell doesn't earn any money. Cut your losses were necessary
Seasonal Stock - i have invested £300 in advent calendars that i know i can sell next Sept for £600 that's about a £200 profit after all costs, better rate of return then any bank i know.
Gambles - I would say 20% of the capital i spend is on gambles and 80% is sure things, some pay of some don't.
Motivation - You will buy some awful stock and some real gems, the trick is not to beat yourself up or over reward yourself or you will miss the next opportunity
Cash flow - you need cash to buy stock, cash gives you options, always aim to keep 20% of your float free for opportunities that arise.
Discounts - take every discount you can get including cash back
3/4/2 - I love these offers. If i need a Christmas present for someone and its £60 i buy 3 of them for £120. i wrap one up as a gift and list the other two when they go "out of stock" . I get at least £60 back per item and if i get over £70 back I'm in profit.
Time - don't waste time, be productive.
K
nowledge (again) - learn from your mistake and your successes.
Once you are up and running its easy and addictive. I have already brought 80% of my Christmas presents for next year in the sales and have purchased £2k worth of reduced stock for resale.
I hope these tips help some of you out in 2010.
This should be added to 1st post I reckon!! Very good tips n advice there!!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150
