Took the Baby Annabell we've got DD1 for Christmas back to Wilko's, then bought one for a tenner less at Argos, having reserved it this morning when I saw the Grabbits
Found £1.67 in loose change hanging around the place. This is all before I get my £100! I know it's a tiny amount but I'm so chuffed I've made a start!I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
just picked up my first items off freecycle - they were advertised as things which would be suitbale to sell at a car boot sale, so I dont think there are any problems with ebaying them...
Is it wrong to be so excited? No longer an accidental landlord, still a wannabe millionaire:beer:

I third that, I'm loving it! And will be good to have support when we hit end of Jan-mid Feb when it all starts looking a bit bleak, at least that's what I'm preparing myself for. Just been sorting through the kids' toys ready for Christmas, and thinking, "Ebay...Ebay..."I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0

Hello everyone, please base your number off this list,so there is no confusion.
Again so many great comments and advice.....thankyou to all posters and readers.
Just a bit of advice,do not be tempted to buy items just because they seem cheap.I have done this many times over the years and have stung myself by not researching products. As they say,you learn by your mistakes-I still occasionally get caught out ! Sometimes a few minutes of research, can save you a few £££'s.
Personally,I have made lots more money on second hand items than new items.I have previous experience of buying trade/wholesale/China.
Be aware that in the 'trade' latter January,February and March are known as the KIPPER.This is because their sales are flat over this period.
Keep real, remember in certain areas of selling, that certain times of the year will have their peaks and troughs.Try to keep your options open, putting all your eggs into one basket is dangerous, especially if you are new to all this.
The last thing I want people to do is loose their initial stake before it has really started.Keep positive, please research products for their actual selling price (especially if you buy new).Do not be nervous about asking for help if you need it.There are plenty of members more than willing to do this on here.Keep your chins up,but be careful !!!"Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do."0 -
