Have cancelled rental of the telephone equipment from BT, only £5.40 per quarter but that is another £21.60 into the pot. We hadn't received a replacement phone for at least eight years, so I phoned to cancel the rental of this and ask for pre-paid envelope so I can return it , but they have said just to keep it, so no change in the equipment but a little saving in the bill. Have been quite busy with other things so not having much time at the moment to do more but still have 9 listings on ebay, which finish shortly. Good luck,Every days a School day!0

Ok, I have spent days following this thread along with doing lots of giggleing and downright laughing along with a few awwwws and oh my's thrown in for good measure.
I have had a rather horrible 2009 however have JUST moved up to Huddersfield area to be with new partner and combinging two houses is NOT a good idea but an amazing excuse to ummmmm teach him about carboots etc *giggle* soooooooo I mentioned to him that I WAS going to save a minimum of 5k this year but was striving for 10k he was quite speechless other than...dont you think that might be rather ambitious but if you can do it well done in advance....awwww.
I have a lot on my plate right now, new town, new area, dont know anyone in the surrounding area and doing manic job searching at the same time. I have no idea where the carboots are or even what is available here lol. I know I could use a buddy!!! Any takers??
Anyway, May I please come out and play with you all? I know in my heart of hearts that I CAN and WILL make this happen. I have learned so much from you all and not sure where I am going to start yet, outside of having a serious clear out of my own things that I have brought here (already started when I realised I have no room lol) and then will of course *cough cough* persuade my sweet and dear partner to have a bit of clearout!! Ebay and carboots here I come! I have also started an account with dooyou but have no idea how to work it yet but that is next on the agenda right after I get this blooody job application filled out.
I am amazed at what you all have accomplised within the first week and I find myself cheering each of you on daily! I firmly believe that we can have anything we want in life we just have to want it bad enough and the only thing stopping us from achieving our dreams is US. Knock em dead everyone and this time next year we can laugh all the way to the bank!!
Anyway, please add me and I am really looking forward to sharing the journey to achieving our dreams together!! If anyone would like to add me to msn, please just send me a PM.
Thank you again everyone and so sorry for the long message here, I feel like a pringle sometimes, once you pop you just cant stop!!! Now back off to fill out this job application!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Hi munchki, good to have you on board. I am sure scrooge2008 will be along to add you to the burgeoning list at some point. Knock them dead with the job application"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0

Hi I joined a while back but just noticed I'm not on the list, can I please be added.
Well I made a big progress. I said at the beginning I don't have the £100 to start so my plan is to do following:
- [STRIKE]find a part time job[/STRIKE] done
- advertise my ironing services
- reclaim C.C. charges
- reclaim PPI
- surveys, reviews
- free Bin9o, MB
- daily clicks
- ebay and Amazon (starting with things around the house until I can afford to buy)
So far I got myself a part time job, pleased about that as it'll bring £5300 for the year. I also won £100 on Bin9o B. This challenge is very important to me as there is a big possibility I would pay off our debts with the extra money!! I need that kick and a push to get the things going.
It's great to see so many people joining in and helping eachother. Good luck to all of you and keep us posted.Official DFW Member no:4100
