Thanks for the above info Turkish its very helpful.
This may sounds slightly uneducated of me but please bear with me.. If I sell son's clothes on ebay, Can I get away with just wrapping them in some tissue (as stuff we use for presents etc) and putting in an A4 envelope? Or is it better to put in bubble jiffys? More importantly would it be cheaper?
Only reason I ask is cause you mention above about getting away with Large Letter, I'm still quite a novice with the whole P&P aspect on ebay and other sites and not sure what to specify on auctions as am clueless atm regarding this. I just slap on more or less what I see other people doing and have in the past found that I've always undercharged what i've actually spent!!http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceFinder?catId=23500532&gear=pricingcalc
I'd say as long as it doesn't look like it is going to break open in the post you should be okay- after all clothes don't need bubblewrap protection.
A large letter costs from 47p and a packet costs from £1.08 so you could save yourself a bit. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

I don't have a clue where Ebay's concerned, i'm not up for gambling or writing reviews... I don't want to sound negative as i'm feeling pretty excited, i'm just a terrible procrastinator and also quite shy which isn't a very useful combination!
Just wanted to add a huge congratulations to all those who are off the mark - WELL DONE x
MOst of us here don't (or at least didn't) have a clue either and all together we seem to ne making it up as we go along. I find this thread great as its brilliant to be able to throw ideas at people and get honest feedback....not just your friends telling you its a good idea!

We could stick with having a single buddy, or maybe have a small group on msn ... say me, Mabel, Mambury and Money? Then we could chat to whoever's around. How does that sound - I'd suggest no bigger than four though or it could get as manic as this thread! We could call it MAMM ...

just stuck 40 dvds on ebay using turbo lister 100 times quicker than doing it on the website just entered the isbn's and worked a treat
Cooki2222, does listing with turbolister cost any more than the normal ebay fees. I'm currently trying to use it for the first time to sell a book. Its telling me the fee is £1.05 whereas it would be free on ebay.
Please help

Just starting wrapping another 18,waiting on payment for another 24.I go to P.O after work and think nothing of going with 10 or 20 at a time. When is there a right time to go to the P.O......?
Great day Thursday for 10 day listings, your items have 2 weekends of viewings ,but if you have the 'right items',I've personally found any time finishing will generally be good.Buyers are forced into leaving sneak bids for listings finishing at unsociable times, and tend to put their top price on this,it then only takes one other similar interested buyer to do the same.;)
Well done everyone on making this thread so popular, you only have yourselves to blame :T:T:T:T:T
Hi all,
Personally I do online postage through royal mail website. Put things in a bag and drop them into PO. No waiting around in queues.0 -
