I spent a good while trawling the net, and have come up with a good possible niche. Found DVD's I wanted to buy, got excited but they're in India  I though it was UK/US site. So....next question........does India fall under the right region to play in the UK? Will look myself but just wondered if any of you nice people knew the answer......

Great posts eyesparky and macgirl, what they are saying is so true! Go for the £10k, try everything you can think off, push your limits, even if you dont hit the magic £10k mark you still might come very close so you simply cannot be a failure at this challenge, any amount extra you take in is a sucsess story as its x amount you wouldnt have had if you didnt take part! Make the most of your time and the rewards could simply be astonishing, this challenge is 1 of my main ones for the forthcoming year and it will be life changing for me as im going to give everything iv got and stop at nothing to hit that magical £10k mark! So what if i fall a bit short il still be alot better off and in a better position than i ever have been and its also a learning experience, what you learn from this, could make it possible for you to smash the £10k mark next year, you just have to make the most of what you have got!
This type of thinking could turn around many debt-prone people as it's as much of a buzz as spending money!!!
This thread is on fire! :T0 -

Well, I haven't done much yet! I have listed a couple of items to sell on a forum I use, and bid on a couple of wholesale lots I could make a really good profit on if I split them. I spent some time trawling Ebay Want it Now then spotted a magazine someone was looking for in a local charity shop, so that's bought and listed.0

I think India is region 5 ... don't quote me on it though."I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -

I get an even bigger buzz not spending money now as i used to spending it. I used to actually feel empty then later came regret and thinking "why did i buy that"
Even my £90 Timberlands....i wear them alot and they are nice and comfy but what was i thinking throwing £90 on something that wasnt a need and it was hardly even a want, i just seen them so bought them! A big no no especially when your already in the red! Iv learned alot from my mistakes already, now i dont have much more to learn about not buying stuff, just to learn about making money from a little investment! As the old saying goes, money makes money. Iv visualising me and the gf in our own home come 2012, with a nice car and van in the driveway, nice tv,sofa and the like(bought in sales with cashback of course) This is spurring me on and its going to happen! I will make it happen, if it does work out and happen with her, thats life, il move into somewhere on my own and find someone to share my happiness and wealth with!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I dont know how true this is, but someone on the TV said that the £1 shop had a half price sale on?? Could be a small amount of resale value there, especially car boots, could have a everything £1 stall and double your money on everything! (I dont have a car so I cant do it)£100 - £10,0000

Not one for me, don't know enough about the stuff. But for you lot who carboot my local poundland (and therefore I assume other poundlands ) has a number of brand name makeup products.
What comes to mind is that I saw 3x Rimmel lipsticks packed together for a quid - there has to be a profit there.
Personally, I think a burly bloke selling makeup at a carboot would look a little, shall we say, odd.....Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
