  • I am making a slow start... have made 4 mini sock pigs to sell on etsy and british gas sent me a cheque for £20 which I have used to buy £20 worth of goods to re-sell.

Have started gathering baby clothes my 3 month old has already grown out of to sell on ebay too. I am not going to update my totals until the end of every month when I have paid my ebay and etsy bills etc.

My husband has said I can sell his very large collection of old WWF wrestling videos - which lets face it probably wont sell for much but it all helps :rotfl:

Hello folks, think positive - keep positive!!! I have listed eleven items on ebay, sold one and have bids on another 5 with 5 days to go, this should net me a total of around about £35 to be going on with. Will sort out other stuff for listing next week. Just a pointer - the stuff I have listed relates to slimming/health and with everyones new year resolutions think this is why its selling better than I thought it would - probably wouldn't do so well later in the year! Sorting out stuff for car boots at the end of February, and going to clean up my cross trainer and mini trampoline and advertise them in Tesco this week - never been looked at for over a year and taking up room in the garage so would be better off with the money in the bank! All the best for the coming week,
    Every days a School day!

Does anyone come up with an absolutely amazing idea that nobody else has thought of and then BOOM! Last few days I've been thinking of a great wedding service idea and today I sit my sisters car and there's a !!!!!!!' leaflet in the car advertising the service! grrr!

Do any of the more experienced members know the cheaper ways to list on ebay.Think it may help others to have some sort of guide on the cheapest.Such as starting price.BIN charge etc.

List items in the book catagory (as its free to list up to £4.99) starting at £4.99 or less, even if it is not a book.Put it under book accessories.....I've done this quite abit lately and its produced great results...Especially as buyers think you've listed it in the wrong catagory !

If like me you list loads at 99p start, then list your items in two catagories....its still free ! :T:T

Oh and well done everyone, you're all doing SUPERB.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Well I joined Dooyoo a couple of days ago and have written 7 reviews and rated quite a few too.
After a lot of thought we have decided to take one car off the road, as we hardly ever use it, so that is £175 saved in road tax.
I am going to start looking for some things to put on ebay and see what I can make on there.
Keep up the good work everyone :)

That made me die laughing. Seriously. Although I'd be gutted if I'd made something that was on there!
