    Why march?

just the weather will be getting a bit better and if people dont have holidays booked for the summer etc they may start considering camping holidays etc, works the same for caravans - never sell end of season wait till spring following year when peoples minds turn to holidays. others on the forum may have other ideas so wont be offended if others disagree. make sure you have a good look round for couriers and check if any through quidco

ummmm thats how i started, buying 'tat' from bootsales and now i have a VERY healthy buisness employ 3 people full time ( and pay more than min wage)and sub-contracting to 2 ..and possibly another job position in a month or two. So your comment about tat compounding to dizzy heights of £10,000 isnt achievable.........

well in fact its more .......a heck of alot more...

    lol

I think its funny some people doubt what can be done.....The old saying "there's money in muck" is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO true.
If I was given the choice now between £1000.00 or 1000 kg of copper,I know which one I'd choose !

I have a friend who started with a small catering trailer,to look at him you'd think he had nothing, well he lives in Sandbanks, drives a BMW M5 (when he has the spare time) he has purchased that I know of 12 catering pitches last year alone.....he is worth a mint-but good luck to him...all through cooking burgers. He can do it-so can we :T:T:T

    GET listing !!!

my mums partner buys the occasional campervan and always gets the best deals at the end of the season thus I guess sellers don't do as well then. however your item might have less competition as people may also wait tll spring before listing.
these things are never black and white. I guess the important thing is list it when you choose to but then don't sped time o the what ifs after its sold.

HI rictus, its been mentioned back and forward throughout the thread and also in bingo's original posting. For Ebay as long as it is personal stuff you're ok, but buying to sell on requires you to register, just make sure you keep note of your overheads - paper, ink, wrapping, petrol costs, listing fees, seller fees, paypal fees?,
