Also regards what to count. If you sasve £10 on your shopping and decide to buy supplies to sell.Whatever you earn in profit has increased the initial saving. So ergo are connected in my opinion.Just for people on a tight belt it means things can get out of control a bit.
What I hope to do is put back 50% profit back into initial outlay and save 50% of the profit permenantely.Hopefully increassing my stock each time.Plus if I get it off the ground I have been told my mother is willing to come in on it.She has already had great craft ideas for weddings. And shes a caterer. So we will pull together.

  • Tell me how this statement is incorrect "Most people signed up to this challenge will not turn £100 into £10,000. (or anywhere near for that matter)

And a week ago I'd have thought the same - certainly of myself. BUT I am now taking the view that if you don't try, you're 100% certain to fail, whereas if you try, you might just succeed. If we achieve part of our goal, that's better than what we started with, if we achieve all of it, brilliant. If we exceed it - whether it's the 10k or less - that's just fantastic.

You clearly have no intention of joining this challenge so feel free to go and be negative, sorry realistic, on other threads.

Moromir - you'd be negative too if you were stuck in watford like Whitegoods :rotfl:

Although I have asked to join, I will be starting with nothing.

£40 was for leading a toddler music group - this has now finished and that was my final invoice to them.
I have ebayed an item and am packaging and pricing the children's stuff to do a car boot which I am hoping will be a regular thing with more children's things I will buy to sell on.
I have some old coins and medals and someone is coming to value and hopefully buy them.
I have an autograph book I am looking into selling.
PO lost a rec del parcel so I've filled in the claim form and hoping for £43 incl postage cost.

I won't count anything as earned till it's in my hand though.

This challenge is possible and I am grateful for having spent the last week at home, doing nothing, very bored, as in hindsight it wasn't time wasted but time to give my brain a rest and reflect on ideas which I am now acting on.

I've just put my first "test" item on Ebay, and the best thing about it was I didn't have to buy anything to do it this time. If it works then I can invest in more stock.

    Good and bad today.

The good - finally stopped procrastinating long enough to list some old toys (playmobil) on ebay that I have been meaning to do for ages. Only been on there a few hours and some already have bids. All have several watchers with 6 days to go:j Fingers crossed!

The bad - still not heard back about the collect in person item I bought. I'm certain that the seller is trying to get out of it as it only went for 99p. Any advice as to what to do would be much appreciated

    Thanks
