What are the circumstances0

Husband & wife. Wife is registered keeper of car and holds policy. Licence of wife possibly about to be revoked due to a medical condiditon. Will the husband now have to be the policy holder or can the wife still be?
Thanks

You should contact the Insurer of the car and explain the circumstances, there is a good chance they will allow the policy to be transferred into the husbands name. If the licence is likely to be revoked permanently they will probably transfer the no claims bonus as well.0

I don't think I've ever been asked to supply my licence details whilst getting insurance......?! I can't ever recall it!0

Virtually all on line quote systems ask for details of your licence (type/how long held/endorsements etc)0

You have to tell them how long you have held your license usually.

They generally want a letter from the wife confirming you agree for the no claims bonus to be transferred to the husband or vice versa.
If you have any problems post back on here0 -
